Noetic Philosophy

What is Noetic Philosophy?

Noetic-Philosophy is concerned with what exists in the world and with the terms of reference in which this reality is to be understood and explained. It is about melding philosophy into the bigger picture. It is about understanding where reality began in the first place. It is about how things grew from there. It is about how we fit into the bigger picture. It is about helping us to think and behave in the manner we do.

The guiding ideas of Noetic-Philosophy is that it looks at reality as a natural existence and is best understood in terms of processes information and knowledge rather than material things. It sees reality in a continuum of modes of change rather than fixed stability. These modes of change are changes whether they are physical, organic, behavioural or cosmic. Noetic-Philosophy hinges on the notion that the processual nature of reality at its deepest level is a fundamental fact with which it must come to terms, regardless of the nature thereof. This includes phenomena that science generally refers to as metaphysical. It also embraces the idea of both a universal and wider cosmic unity, a unity that can be traced back to the beginning of time which of course there is no such thing except by means of our imagination.

Noetic-Philosophy seeks to provide the impetus for big picture understanding, for a coherent view of all things that occurs within the broadest confines of reality.
